Confirmation for Youth:
Teens must participate in Faith Formation 1 year prior to beginning preparation for Confirmation. For example, most teens begin Confirmation prep during the 9th grade year, so they must have participated in 8th grade faith formation classes the entire year.
The Good Shepherd Confirmation Program is a two year program typically
beginning in the Fall semester of the 9th grade and ending in the Spring semester of the 10th grade.
The program consists of:
– Academic classes (see link below)
– Spiritual experiences such as retreats
– Faith in Action: Service projects
– Community: Participation in the Youth Group program
