St. Vincent de Paul

Good Shepherd Chapter

Saint Vincent de Paul is built on a foundation of compassion, service, and community care. Your kindness—whether through your time, talents, or generosity—has the power to bring hope and transform lives right here in Forsyth County. Together, we can make a meaningful difference for our neighbors in need.

About Us

Founded in 1998, Good Shepherd SVdP is dedicated to serving our neighbors in Forsyth County with compassion and care. Our volunteers visit in pairs, meeting families in the comfort of their homes, where they can openly share their struggles and needs. Through these visits, we offer friendship, prayer, and support—because no one should face life’s challenges alone.

With God’s grace and the generosity of our community, we may provide assistance for rent, mortgage, utilities, medical expenses, transportation, furniture, food, and other essential needs. Together, we bring hope and help to those who need it most.

Helpline

If you need assistance, we’re here to help. Our helpline is open Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 3 PM. Please call 678-947-0677 and leave a message. A caring SVdP volunteer will return your call as soon as possible (please note that the Caller ID may appear as a private number).

You are not alone—we’re here to listen, support, and walk alongside you.
