Middle school and high school teens returned from their domestic mission trip to Charlotte, NC. Seventeen teens, one seminarian and five adults from Good Shepherd worked with other parishes from several states on projects that were reviewed and approved by the Charlotte Archdiocese and city and county officials based on the need of the individuals. We worked in teams for four days on houses and assisted care facilities within the community. We helped with repairs, painting, cleaning, organizing and landscaping projects. Everyone worked hard and completed the projects that were assigned to them. They built relationships to the individuals that they served. It was a great experience for all!

Thank you to the adults that gave up their week to be with the kids. Without them we would not be able to participate in service projects.
