Parent Update #8

Hi All,

Hope you had a fun fall break with your children last week.  This email will cover several items/activities which are occurring in our Middle School Faith Formation program.

  • There is Faith Formation classes this Sunday, October 8th and Sunday, October 15th after the 5:30PM Mass.
  • Our third hangout is scheduled for Saturday, October 14th from 6:00PM till 9:00PM in the PLC. The teens will be able to play Xbox, Wii and other games with their friends.  We will also be playing a movie for them.  I encourage you to have your teens participate in these activities.  Friends are welcome to attend as long as they bring a signed permission form with them. We ask for a $5.00 donation to cover the pizza cost and they need to bring either a bottle of soda or bag of chips that they can share with the other participants.  A permission form is attached for your use.  I need at least 4 adult chaperons for this event.  Please email me if you will help out.
  • There will be no classes on Sunday, October 22nd because Family Promise will be here during that weekend.
  • I appreciate all of you that work with your children on their prayers. It is important that your children say their prayers daily.  They need to understand and say their prayers.  Having the teens pray will help them improve their Spiritual life.

God Bless.
